|In response to Re: Low water pressure - entire house|
Keith, Thanks. It's the whole house. But, the outside
hose, which has good pressure is located right
above the main shutoff valve. Direct line-of-pipe.
I'm going with the thought that in draining the pipes
sediment backflowed through the system clogging the
pressure control valve. Over time it allows pressure
to build, but once water flow is demanded by an open
faucet, the blockage halts a good flow. Sediment may
be from the hot water heater as I dod not drain it before
attempting to drain the entire house.
