If the tiles are soft, such as four-and-a-quarter wall tiles, a carbide tipped masonry bit will work fine, and the glass bit also. But if the tiles are fairly dense, hard monocottura, porcelains, etc., then a diamond bit is the ticket. I would use a shower rod that is held in by friction, eliminating the need to drill holes in the first place. John |
