It will only become a major project if you twist the faucet into two pieces while removing the cap. You may have a pressure balanced faucet with a sticking spool, or the hot water washer may have deformed closing off the opening. : The hot water in my shower (Delta single handle faucet) has diminished in volume. I assume there is a : buildup of crud in the faucet. How hard is it to disassemble the faucet, and what should I do if the crud : is in the pipe and not the faucet? I have ceramic tile walls, and no cut-off except the main house one. : This has all the appearances of being a two-bit job that will end up costing me a fortune. : Thanks
