Single Handle Delta Faucet

The hot water in my shower (Delta single handle faucet) has diminished in volume. I assume there is a buildup of crud in the faucet. How hard is it to disassemble the faucet, and what should I do if the crud is in the pipe and not the faucet? I have ceramic tile walls, and no cut-off except the main house one. This has all the appearances of being a two-bit job that will end up costing me a fortune. Thanks
