|In response to Re: water softner causing low water pressure|
The distribution tubes at the bottom must be plugged up. The only way to fix them is to completely empty the softener. The time and effort, plus the cost of new tubes if they have collapsed is often not justified and a new softener may be more economical.
: I was hoping you might have some other ideas why my water softner would be causing low water pressure? When we switch it over to by-pass we have alot of pressure. We have cleaned all screens and also taken the valve apart and made sure it was clean and it all seemed to be in working order. We also use resin cleaner on a regular basis, so I am stumped as to the cause. If you have any other ideas please let me know. Thank you very much!
