I am installing a new washer & dryer under a counter. I want to hide the gas supply line and dryer vent in the wall. What I need to know is; does the 4" dryer vent nedd to be B-vent when enclosed in a wall. I am installing this in a basement and have built the wall out 5" to allow for the vent. I have also planned access to the dryer vent and gas supply shut off via a removeable backsplash. The gas supply shutoff will be 36" off the floor but directly behind the dryer. Is this a good location for the shut off? |
