: Hi. Can anyone tell me what the normal range of water pressure is for a townhouse? I live in a townhouse project. I find that approximately 75psi is the lowest pressure giving sufficient water force. The homeowners assoc here has decided it must be 55psi. At that pressure, it takes what seems like forever for the sink or the washing machine to fill up. And it makes me feel like screaming in fustration in the shower. Can this be right? I am in the midst of fighting with them over this. It's ridiculous to live in your own place and have to feel this way.

Harry,
55 PSI is pretty common.
If you are in a hurry, you can change aeators at the faucets, from 2.0 to full flow.
Shower heads can be drilled out.
Screens can be cleaned at the washer hose inlets.
