Call a plumber and have him pad the bill by $50. A plumber probably won't even step in your house unless he can get you for $150 anyway. By the time you run around buying parts, you could spend $50 and still have a leak. : Never having done plumbing before yet being responsible for the first $50 of repairs on my apartment I had to fix the shower faucet myself. So far I've replaced the washer, the stem and the seat and still my cold water continues to leak, it's not a drip it's a constant stream of water. What are my next steps?
