With the power OFF and unplugged/disconnected if possible, look into the drain hole and see if anything appears to be caught in the blades. Use the wooden end of a broomstick or something similar to push the blades around a bit. Then look for a reset button on the underside of the disposer and press it. If there is a socket for a hex driver/ Allen wrench on the center of the disposer's bottom, insert the wrench and twist it back and forth. Run water and try using the disposer again. : I aciendently chopped up a shot glass ,and ever since the dam thing won't come on. It's like there's : no power. Please tell me how2 fix.
