In response to Re: Dishwasher Air Gap
If the air gap is installed below the level of the sink top, any backup in the sink or disposer will overflow out the gap and into the cabinet.

: I'm remodeling my 1927 kitchen and am installing a wall mounted faucet fixture so there will be nothing
: to interrupt the smooth countertop, except possibly the dishwasher air gap and cover. My question: Is
: there a practical way to "conceal" the air gap (i.e. just under the countertop and behind the sink)? What
: are the issues if I try this?

: Thanks!
