Glass-Lined Water heater

I bought a house with a glass lined water heater by american standard...the Signet, model G50-S31 I believe the tank is a 1964 model!!! It has been in constant use and continues to work fine. Am I blessed or might it be a natural gas hog that should be replaced with those modern types that leak in 5 to 12 years. With recent gas prices...I wonder
