|In response to Re: grease trap smells|
The idea of a grease trap is to catch the grease. If you put anything in it to cut the grease and allow it to flow out of the trap, then you are defeating its purpose. You must dip the grease out periodically.
: I recently heard you could put lyme or something in a grease trap to cut the grease. Mine flows so slowly the smell is awful. Is it lyme like you use in a garden? Or lye? I tried some expensive bio chem that didn't make a dent. Thanks for the help. TT
