I have an oil burning furnase that makes a wineing sound. The oil company replaced the oil pump to no avail. Now the oil Co. rep. sais that he thinks the sound is vibration thru the oil lines which are hung on the rafters of the basement ceiling. He suggests rerunning all the oil lines to the basement floor. Help does anyone have any thoughts. Notably the sound reverberates thru the entire house. It sounds a little like a quite turbine engine going on and then winding down when it turns off.
