All the Briggs I have worked on had removable seats. They are usually about 1 to 2 1/2" long with a hex opening at the bottom. Since there are 3/8S, 3/8M, 3/8R, 3/8L, and various sizes of 1/2" one of them should fit. Otherwise just trim down a larger one to fit. : Anybody heard of a Briggs Faucet? H&C and Shower. Older. Maybe installed in 50's. Doesn't seem to have removable seat? Doesn't quite take 3/8 or 1/2 washers. : Any body have source for parts -- or do I give up and replace the whole darn thing. Thanks.
