Water pressure

have low water upstairs, have install new pressure tank set at 40-60. Checked water from valve coming in basement will fill a 15 quart bucket in 15-20 seconds. Upstairs will ttake 1 minute 10 seconds. Bypassed water softner. pipe in home 3/4 inch copper with 1/2 inch on some branches. If I flush upstairs toilet pressure really drops to sink next to it. What do I check next, shower upstairs sometimes gets so bad when I pull lever to have water come out of shower head it just won't do it. Thanks for any advice. John
