A gravity recirculating line will only work if the water heater is in the basement or some other location below the fixtures and the pipe cannot go up and down in the walls like most systems do. Grundfos and Laing make circulator systems that connect to the hot and cold water faucet pipes and keep the hot water warm so you do not have to run that much water before it gets hot. You do need an electrical outlet under the sink where it is to be installed and it will only help the fixtures that are connected to the pipe running between the heater and the pump.
: My main water line outside of my new home (less than 6 months old) is not buried undergound. My question is for New Orleans LA how deep should the line be buried underground.
