Where to get an old American Standard Toilet seat

Where can I find a blue American Standard replacement toilet seat, model "212"

According to the nearby American Standard dealer they don't make this toilet seat anymore and blue is
very hard color to find so it would cost $250 for them to order one for us.

I can't see spending $250 for a TOILET SEAT.

Any idea where I can find replacement seat?
If I get a white seat can I paint it or dye it blue?
Are there other seats that are compatible with the 212?
