PUTTING IN HOT OR COLD STEM Do I have the stem set all the open (screwed down to tip that goes in pipe/in wall) or do i have it set on off (screwed up towards the end that you put handle on) See when I replaced the hot it seems I had the outer section (seat? casing on stem) down towards the tip that goes in the pipe wall - IN 3 MONTHS WE HAVE DESTROYED THE WASHER AT THE TIP OF STEM THAT GOES INTO WALL. IS this my leak issue above???

PUTTING IN HOT OR COLD STEM
Do I have the stem set all the open (screwed down to tip that goes in pipe/in wall)
