Ken: The terra cotta pipe can be cut easily with a skil saw with a masonry blade or if you have access to a pair of chain snaps that's even easier. Replace the clean out with a PVC one, and make the transition from clay pipe to PVC with a Fernco rubber coupling from the Home Depot. Lotsa luck ...Jose
