|In response to Re: Pedistal Sink|
The pedestal lavatory will have to be located right in front of the drain line from the wall. If this is not a good location for the lavatory then the drain line will have to be relocated. If the pedestal does not have a complete cutout in the back for the drainage, then the height of the pipe from the wall will have to be high enough so the trap will fit in the recess of the pedestal.
: I am considering a pedistal sink in my bathroom remodel. How do I evaluate the existing plumbing (drain lines and supply lines) to understand the extent of what will be involved? There currently is a small vanity in the spot where I am considering the pedistal sink and I am concerned about the pipe spacing type ect.
