You can do it if you wish to spend the money, but what would that 16-20" space be good for? : I have a crawl space that is big enough for another large room (over 400 sq feet). There is a large slope to the space. Can half the space have a concrete floor and half have a wood floor with 16-20" of clearance from the beams?
