: The best one that does what you describe is a "Spin-n-Grin" that has a stopper that screws into the strainer to seal. It will not pop up or down by itself and seals perfectly tight. They are used on boats to ensure that waves cannot backup into the sink.
I've heard of that one but havent been able to find it at a store. Just a bad drawing of one on a website. Do you know if that has a removeable crumb cup to clean it out easier? Or is it all connected as one piece so it cannot be removed from the strainer body?
