|In response to Re: Is it okay to plumb hot & coldlines in PVC?|
PVC is seldom approved for the cold water inside a house and is never approved for hot water since it will soften at normal temperatures. You may have CPVC which is approved for hot and cold water systems, as long as the hot water system does not have a circulator pump system.
: I recently purchased a new house, only two years old, and was suprised to find all the plumbing done in PVC. I am used to seeing sopper used for hot and cold lines.
