No! not a good idea to vent a bath fan into a crawl space. It could cause moisture accumulation problems. but, there is no reason you can't just run the pipe thru the crawl space to an exterior wall. use rigid metal pipe to cut down on drag. you might need a larger than normal fan to get enough air flow.

(I'm not sure why you would have problem with sewer gas in a bath vent fan unless you do some really "creative" plumbing!)
