Terry: We have 4' heavy cast iron mains with 2" cast iron laterals Everything below the floor is cast iron. They are finally starting to plug up.
I am getting a difference of opinion on what should be done, between those who want to carefully pour chemicals down the drains (SIZZLE or CLOBBER), and those who want to come in with rotary snake equipment.
What is the state of the art today for this problem? Thanks.
