I have a 24 year old Majestic fireplace that I am attempting to install a gas line. I don't know the exact model as I cannot find a serial number anywhere. Anyway, it appears to be a triple wall model. I see the gas knock out on both the lower and upper right and left sides. I will be using the lower left side. Here's my question, how do get through the other walls to bring the gas line into the fireplace. I am hesitate to drill or hole. I have unscrewed the inner wall from inside of the fireplace and there is no evidence of a knock-out or "passage way". Also, the space to run the line is very tight. Any advise? Thanks for getting back with me. |
