I had to re-route an upstairs toilet drain to open a pas-thru in the downstairs kitchen. I built a column to hide the pipes. Everrytime we flush upstairs sounds like a waterfall downstairs. Tried insulation but still too noisy. Someone suggested to change the PVC to cast iron pipes. @ questions: 1.- Does it really work? and 2.- How do you connect PVC to cast iron pipe?
