I am replacing water lines to an upstairs bath in a 150 year old house. This house has sinks in several of the bedrooms
as well. Once I got the floor in the bath torn up, I found that all of the bedroom sinks run off the same lead lines.
I want to leave the lines running to the bedrooms, but replace the ones in the bathroom. I need to seal off
4 places where the lead lines ran to the bathroom. The question is how do you seal off the end of a lead pipe?
I would like to cut the pipe in 4 places and then seal them off and replace it.
