Occasional use water heater?

I would like to have hot water to bathe my dogs in a kennel run behind the garage. I have cold water and electricity, but it is too far from the house to run a hot water line. Is there a water heater that would supply enough for a bath and could be shut off the rest of the time? Thanks for any suggestions, Gail Casablanca Kuvaszok
