Technically, it is against Code to connect the line directly to the disposal because of the risk of having dirty water run from your sink drain down into the dishwasher. I had this problem and found that the hose from the air gap to the disposal was bent sharply and kinked, blocking free water flow. Getting a longer or shorter hose can often fix this, or get a radiator hose from an auto supply that has a pre-formed bend in it. - John |
