![]() You can also check the rim holes with a coat hanger and see if they are plugged. Terry : After the flapper drops it cuts off the water to the jets. The water that continues entering the bowl is to ensure a trap seal. Make sure the flapper is in good shape. When they get old they shrink and become brittle, causing them to drop too quickly. Also check the ballcock. Mark : : after the water goes down the toilet drain from the tank on a flush and the flapper closes, no water comes from the rim of the toilet. This makes for a poor flush. Can anyone help!
