|In response to Re: Ice Climbing Formation|
Keep the water running a little bit or drain the pipe when the valve is shut off. The first can be accomplished with a small bypass line around the shutoff valve with a needle valve control and the latter with a three way valve that automatically drains the line when the valve changes direction.
: HI! I would like to create an ice climbing formation against the side of my concrete walled building. What I need is a water supply from indoors (which i have) piped up the exterior of the wall (outside) and a light trickle down the wall to form the Ice Fall.
: How would keep the pipe on the exterior of the wall from freezing in the cold temperatures? I can deal with the rest of the mechanics but I'm perplexed on how to keep that pipe from freezin!!!!! Thanks!!
