|In response to Re: BASEMENT BATHROOM|
The plumbing can be below concrete, 12" should be fine, and then the waste line can drop into the existing line.
: I AM INSTALLING A BASEMENT BATHROOM AND WOULD
: LIKE TO KNOW THE PROPER WAY TO TAP INTO THE CLEANOUT.
: THE CLEANOUT LINE IS 3FT UNDER THE BASEMENT SLAB.
: THE HOUSE HAS A WALKOUT BASEMENT. THE BATHROOM WILL
: HAVE FOUR FIXTURES. I DON'T KNOW IF I HAVE TO DIG
: OUT A 3FT TRENCH TO THE TOILET ON ONE SIDE OF THE
: CLEANOUT LINE AND THE SAME ON THE OTHER SIDE FOR
: THE BATHTUB, OR IS IT POSSIBLE TO DIG A 1FT AND
: TAPER INTO THE VERTICAL CLEANOUT THAT IS COMING
: UP FROM THE 3FT DEPTH BY THE WATER METER. ANY HELP WOULD
: BE APPRECIATED.
