Toilet Tanks

Is there some reason that Toilet tanks need to be made of porcelain? I have seen exactly -one- tank that was wooden with a fiberglass liner. What would keep it from sweating in the summer? Where can I get a toilet tank made of something other than porcelain. Larger than 1.6 gal is OK. Thanks, -Dave
