|In response to Re: Water well pump trips breaker switch|
By now you have probably figured out that the motor is burned out, the pump bearings have frozen, or the pump itself is frozen with ice.
: Recently our water stopped flowing to the house. We thought that our pipes had frozen at the well. We installed a utility heater to prevent freezing. When we attemted to plug the water well pump back in, it tripped the breaker switch. It did this on two other attempts. We have determined that the electrical outlet works by plugging other devices into it. What can cause this reaction to the plugging in of the well pump? Please help. Fixed income may not allow us to hire a professional at this time. Thanks in advance.
