Hi Rick: By all means, go with the ferncos.and yes, you can bury them. Since cast iron pipe and ABS pipe have different wall thicknesses, the ferncos are the ones to use than the MJ clamps you described with the metal banding. If you used MJ clamps in this case, the metal banding would be crushed because of the different wall thicknesses. Good luck. Marty |
