Folks, what's the best choice of sealer for sealing the PVC drain fitting (2") at the base of a 2 piece fiberglass shower stall? Is it better to use RTV, Silicone caulk, or Plumber's Putty to seal the drain fitting? Please help. My uncle says the Plumber's Putty, a plumber I know says RTV, and I've heard talk of Silicone caulk as the third choice. Please help. I need to hear from someone that's had some experience in this area. Please help me. Thanks very much. tony de crescentis |
