120 gallon electric hot water heater

i am shopping for a double element 120 gallon hot water heater .. are there differences between brands?? our electric rates are the highest in the nation here in hawaii and i would appreciate any help you could offer in helping select a model .do some units use more electricity than others?? finally , i was offered a rheem for $120 less then an A O Smith ..are they the sam eor is A O Smith worth more ??
