: I'm redoing my bathroom and I currently have 6" of 4" i.d. PVC pipe protruding from, and surrounded by the mud job. Should I cut the Pvc and attach the toilet flange before tiling, or tile first and put the flange on top of the tiles? Also, do I need to attach the flange with anything more than PVC cement?

They make flanges that glue inside a 4" pipe. I like to cut the plastic pipe flush with the concrete, and glue the flange on the inside. I secure it with concrete anchors. The tile then goes to the outside of the flange. Terry
