I installed a terrazzo shower pan in a second story home once. It took four large people to drag it up the stairs, and only took two weeks for a crack to start at the drain and proceed to enlarge in size over the next month. We tore everything out and replaced it with a cultured marble pan that is still there and doing the job.

You may want to forgo the terrazzo pan.
