|In response to Re: Sediment in hot water line|
Being green, it sounds like it is some copper reaction in the water heater. If it is an ongoing problem, install a "Y" strainer in the heater outlet piping with a valve to flush the debris to a drain.
: I work for a new laundramat. We are getting a greenish granular sediment clogging the inlet strainers only on the hot water side of the machines. Every two weeks I have to clean the strainers. I drained the storage tank and the problem went away for two months but came back to same intensity. The store has been open for two years and problem has been there from the beginning. Any suggestions on what it might be???
