|In response to Re: Radiators|
Once the system is drained , there is no secret to removing them. Then just reconnect them after they are complete.
: We just bought a house that has a hot water heating system. It has two old cast iron radiators in the finished basement area which are slightly rusty and VERY dirty. We want to disconnect them and have them cleaned/sandblasted and painted, then reconnect them, but we want some information on the proper procedure for doing so without causing problems for the boiler system. No plumbing or heating contractors in the area will disconnect them for us; we've been told we have to do it ourselves. Any helpful advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
