|In response to Re: Ejector Pit Cover Sealant?|
I use latex since it does not have to glue the parts together just seal them. Adhesive or silicone, if they make good adhesion, can secure them to the point of making them almost impossible to remove later.
: While I'm on the subject of tube-based sealing products, what should I use to re-seal my ejector pit cover after I replace my pump? Do I want a silicone or latex CAULK, or do I want some sort of waterproof ADHESIVE product? I obviously want a good seal, but I want to be able to open it up again in the future (hopefully the FAR future!) if I need to.
