|In response to Re: Toilet Tub install on cement floor.|
The toilet should be out 12"-13" from the back finished wall and at least 15" from the side. You will have to measure the tub's center from the tub's back wall, usually about 14 3/4" and the distance from the side wall will depend on the waste/overlow unit you use, normally about 2" from the side wall, but varies.
: I am finishing my basement. It has a cement floor. The plumbing is roughed in as follows. The toilet pipe is 16" from the wall. The tub drain is 13" from the side wall and also 13" from the end wall.
: What is the proper distance for the toilet? What is the process for moving these drains if necessary? The one piece tub unit we want to use has the drain about 8 inches from the end.......I really want to learn how to do this. What do you recommend?
: Thanks in advance for your help.
