: Help! I was trying to change the washer on my leaky shower faucet and once I got the handle off, I was trying to unscrew the washer and the screw was so old that it crumbled and the screw head is now broken. I can't unscrew the washer. What do I do now?

You're getting pretty strong I guess. Well, now you're in a fix. Better take that shower stem down to the hardware store and match it up with a new one. Don't forget to get some new seats while you are at it. Terry
