: I instaled a Toto Caryle toilet according to the Manf. instructions. The toilet has rear mounting bolts. The toilet is on ceramic tile. After instaled the toilet want's to move slightly side to side in the front portion. What is the solution to this problem? The nuts in the back are fairly tight, not to break the base. Is caulking around the base of the toilet the answer? Any support is welcome, Thanking you in advacne for your help.

Caulking around the base is the answer here.
PolySeamSeal does a nice job. Silicone adhere so well that future removal becomes a chore.
Most toilet installation should have the caulking done fromm bolt to bolt around the front of the toilet, but not at the back.
If a seal leaks, you should know sooner than later.
With the Carlyle, there are no visible bolts, so I would start caulking about 12" from the back wall. Terry
