I have the same problem.
I think this is just what sump pumps are made for so I am going to install one myself.
All parts are available from Grainger online:
www.grainger.com

sump pit w/ lid
submersible pump
drain hose
backflow valve
(backup power?)
drainage rock from hardware store

P.S.
If you can possibly afford it get a pro to do this for you!
