: : I would like to remove the shower stall pan. Is there a special tool to use to remove the drain?

: I am not sure of the type drain you have. It may be leaded into a hub, or it may be PVC, or copper. you will have to chip out the concrete all around it. there may be an adjustable flange on it but i doubt you can remove it without tearing it up.Is this on a slab,or basement under it?if it is accessable in a basement or crawl then just cut the whole trap and all out and replumb as needed.Dale's Plumbing Service Inc

Thanks for info. The shower stall is on a slab. I was thinking of removeing the stall and put in a 1 piece system. But there is nothing wrong with the old stall. I have a 3 piece plastic walls. Also it is a small 31 X 31 stall. Is there any better surround system out there?

Thanks AL
