I rented a house once that had a sunken bathing area but there was no tub; instead it was completely tiled! Now I'm a homeowner and must replace a cracked fiberglass tub. I want to recreate the bathing area I loved but ... 1) how do I make sure the walls will support all that heavy water? and 2) what kinds of materials (backer board, grout, etc) should I use to make sure it doesn't leak? |
