Patricia: Try fully opening the valve that supplies the water to the faucet. Sometimes the washer screw comes loose and it makes a machine gun type noise. Bud................ We are in a fairly new home (2years old) and we have one bathroom, hot water faucet, that just thumps and jumps whenever it is on for more than a few seconds. We don't have this problem with any other faucets, not even the other bathroom faucet (there are two sinks, about 3 feet apart). In fact it seems that if we turn on the other hot water faucet the howling and thumping will stop (I wouldn't swear to this) : I assume it's air in the pipe but not sure why just one and I don't know what to do to fix it. : I'd really appreciate any help you can give. : Thanks
